Adopt-A-bArctic-Dog

Our Adopt-A-bArctic Dog Program

Every month, we will post on our social media and website, a dog’s profile who is in need of adoption. The dog will receive a shirt to keep and take to their forever home. This program is very personal to us. Audrey (our brand ambassador) was a rescue and adopted by our President/CEO, Linda Coad. We want to be a part of the solution of helping rescue dogs find homes and hope you will join us!

We recently teamed up with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department — City of Charlotte (CMPD) Animal Care & Control to help them get dogs adopted in our community through our Adopt-A-bArctic Dog program.

Meet Ivey
Sponsored: October 2020
Ivey was adopted November 2020!
Ivy is a 51 lb., 2-year-old spayed female. She is super sweet, gentle, and very playful.  She is also a snuggle bug who likes to sit in laps and roll over for belly rubs.

Ivy has a large scar down her back.  Although her scar is healed, it still needs protection from sunburn.   Sunscreen is messy and blocks all healthy light. The bArctic shirt will protect her from sunburn, without blocking the healthy light that her body needs.  The bArctic shirt converts sunlight into healthy, cool, red and near-infrared light, which is the same light used by veterinarians to treat dogs with wound healing, anxiety, inflammation, and much more.  We are happy Ivy has a bArctic shirt to take to her forever home which will keep her protected.

Ivy's CMPD Animal Care & Control ID is A1173480.
